I’ve written about this a little already, but let me just repeat how hard it is to report conflict in still images.

The other day I went out with an ambulance crew in Misrata, Libya and ended up covering a street fight for 2 and half hours.  I realized as soon as I got there that photos just wouldn’t be able to convey the scene properly.

So I switched to video.

Here is some of it used in a report by Channel 4′s Jonathan Miller:

I should add that Channel 4 News is one of the few truly fantastic TV news channels out there.  I highly recommend checking them out.
